| Kwangyang Port handles 157,000 TEU in March, up 43% |

The Korea Container Terminal Authority (KCTA) announced Kwangyang Port handled 157,000 TEU in March, up 43% compared to last year. It is the biggest monthly cargo handling since the port opened.
Import and export cargoes stood at 120,000 TEU, up 36%, while transshipment cargoes were 37,000 TEU, up 69% compared to last year. Especially, Korea Express broke the 50,000 TEU level for the first time as a single terminal. |
