To rally business at Busan Port's, related organizations (Busan Regional Maritime Affairs & Fisheries Office, korea Container Terminal Authority, Busan Metropolitan City and Busan kyoungnam Main Customs), and related companies (container terminal enterprises: Busan NewPort Company and the Busan Longshoremen's Union) launched a development plan. According to the plan, Busan Port Sales Team was launched a port sales exhibition in Singapore on December 1st, Hong kong on December 3rd, and Shenzhen in China on December 4th. In the exhibition, foreign shipping company representatives from Asian head offices and leading shippers attended. Publicity work for Busan New Port and information on the restoration of Busan Port was given out while attendee's complaints about Busan Port were gathered. It is first time to launch a Busan Port Sales Team, made of related organizations and companies, and hold a port sales exhibition overseas. It aimed to help get through Busan Port's recent crisis caused by the KCWF's strike and typhoon Maemi. "We hope this exhibition is effective.
